大多適用於 E-Class W210 1994 ~ 2003
方向盤電動調整, 只能前後無法上下調.
以下步驟為方向盤卡住於最低狀態, 無法上調.
操作步驟 :
1. 車輛停放於通風處, P檔, 確實採下左腳煞車, 防止車輛滑動. 發動引擎怠速.
2. 將方向盤往駕駛員方向伸至最長.
3. 雙手握住方向盤兩側, 上下搖動方向盤數次.
4. 調整座椅使駕駛員右腳大腿前端可頂住方向盤下緣.
5. 左手按方向盤電動調整鍵向上, 同時右手用力拍方向盤右側數次(由右向左拍).
6. 反覆步驟5, 直到方向盤往上移動位置.
此方式未必能永久修復方向盤上下調整功能.
如果不是經常需要調整方向盤上下位置, 則可操作上調至適當位置後就不再下調方向盤.

It is a programming issue.
The little electric motor that movies the column is drawing slightly more amps then the limit is set at thus it will not allow it to move.
If you take it in for service they will update the program.
if you want the quick and dirty fix just pull hard on the wheel when you initially try and move it and it will most likely start working again.
Hit the wheel with your hand downward, it will probably loosen back up.
the bulletin actually says to extend the wheel and then hit it firmly with your hand to free it.
Extended the steering wheel all the way out then hit the top of the steering wheel while directing the wheel down and it started working again. Took a few tries, but literally fixed it in under 30 seconds.
